Can i send a book(s) via mail to my brother who is in LCJ? If so, can i send him any book or graphic novel? Lastly if so, will he be able to retain the written work upon release?

my son got hurt playing basket ball 09/05/08 it is a seriuos injury what kind of medical help will he get and when they took him to cmh were he was given a precription that has not been fill yet he is walking on crutches and not receiving any other treatment what will happen to him
